Dr. Lauredan is a former member of the Board of the Newark Urban League, Aetna-US Healthcare-Medical Advisory Committee, Medical Advisory Board, Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, New Jersey State/Lead Advisory Board, Children’s Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.
He is the chairman and chief executive officer of the United Caribbean African Alliance (UCCA). Under his tenure, UCCA successfully worked to re-establish democracy in Haiti and Sierra Leon, and negotiated with the U.S. Food and Drug Agency the successful removal of Haitians from the “List of four H” as diagnostic criteria for HIV/AIDS.

With expertise in community service, and project administration, Dr. Lauredan is recognized in “Who’s Who in America”, “Who’s Who in New Jersey”, and is the recipient of the U.S. Congressional “Outstanding Community Service” award. He has received commendations for community leadership from New Jersey Governor Christine Whitman and U.S. Presidents George Bush and Bill Clinton. A graduate of the State University of New York, he is fluent in English, Spanish and Creole.
